Brno Brawls: January Escapades – From Turkish Balloons to Croatian Coasts
Greetings, fellow Erasmus enthusiasts!
As the new year unfolds, the Brno Crew is back with another tale of our escapades, this time taking you on a whirlwind journey through snow-covered landscapes, ancient cities, and breathtaking coastlines. Buckle up for a January adventure like no other!
Turkish Delights: Istanbul and Cappadocia
Our first adventure took us to the enchanting land of Turkey, where we explored the vibrant city of Istanbul and the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia. In Istanbul, we were mesmerized by the Hagia Sophia and wandered through the Grand Bazaar. But the true highlight was our Cappadocia adventure – we soared above the clouds in a hot air balloon and embarked on a 7-hour road trip from Istanbul to Cappadocia through snow-covered mountains.
Croatian Coast: A Coastal Odyssey
Our second adventure took us to the stunning coast of Croatia, where we rented a car and embarked on an epic road trip from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. Along the way, we were captivated by the charming coastal towns and the breathtaking beauty of the Adriatic Sea. We even took a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters.
Bosnian Interlude: A Glimpse into Mostar
No Croatian adventure would be complete without a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. We made a quick detour to Mostar, where we were awestruck by the iconic Stari Most bridge.
January: A Month of Cultural Immersion and Adventure
January in Brno was a month of cultural immersion, breathtaking adventures, and the joy of exploring new horizons. We traversed snow-covered landscapes, soared through the skies of Turkey, and discovered the hidden gems of Croatia and Bosnia.
These experiences have not only enriched our Erasmus journey but have also opened our minds to the beauty and diversity of the world around us.
So, here's to the Brno Crew, to the Turkish balloons, to the Croatian coasts, and to the Bosnian bridges that have made our January adventures so extraordinary.
Cheers to many more cultural encounters and unforgettable experiences in the year to come!
