Brno Bound: Our Erasmus Adventure Begins!

Hey everyone,

We're a group of Erasmus students, and guess what? We just touched down in beautiful Brno! After months of planning, packing, and dreaming, we're finally here, ready to dive headfirst into Czech culture, academic adventures, and (of course) exploring this historic city.

Some of us flew into Vienna, while others braved the journey directly to Brno. But one thing's for sure: the excitement was electric! We navigated the airport with a mix of nervous energy and wide-eyed wonder, already soaking up the new sights and sounds.

This first week has been a whirlwind of activity! The ESN organized an incredible welcome week for us Erasmus newbies. We kicked things off with a giant picnic in a sprawling park, a perfect chance to soak up the sunshine and get to know our fellow international classmates. The highlight, though, might have been the flag party! It was amazing seeing such a vibrant display of cultures, everyone waving their flags and sharing stories from their home countries. We even braved a local wine tasting, where we learned to appreciate the

distinct flavours of Czech wines (and maybe had a little too much fun practicing some new Czech phrases!). But the best part, hands down, has been meeting all these amazing people.

We've already made new friends from all over the world, and we can't wait to see what adventures await us together!
